What are the admission requirements for the program? A foundational knowledge of certain subjects is required for enrollment. Students must have completed each of the following prerequisites (or an equivalent) prior to the start of the term in which the program starts.

Single variable calculus (similar to UVA MATH 1210-1220, MATH 1310-1320, or APMA 1090-1110)

Linear algebra or matrix algebra (similar to UVA MATH 3350, MATH 3351, or APMA 3080)

Introductory statistics (similar to UVA STAT 2020, STAT 2120, APMA 3110, or APMA 3120)

Introductory programming (similar to UVA CS 1110, CS 1111, CS 1112, or CS 1113)

    How long is the program and is it available full and part time? On average, students will complete the degree in approximately 2 years taking an average of 2 courses per semester but this can be extended or compressed based on number of courses taken at a time Cohort-based, full-time only: 11 months Earn the dual MBA/MSDS degree in 24 months, instead of the 32 months that would be required if each degree were pursued independently.
